It all sounds too good to be true but it isn't. On average, to own your own horsebox costs *£6000 per annum. This cost accounts for plating, servicing, depreciation and basic repairs. Trevelyan has created a membership scheme to allow horse owners the opportunity to share in the joy of owning a £40,000 three stall box with luxury living for 3 to 4 people.
The idea is that our clients share the costs of ownership with others that wish to travel to special events and stay over in a little luxury from time to time. You are provided with the use of the vehicle without any of the hassles attached to ownership...no need to outlay large amounts of your money, to clean, service, plate or store the box.
Trevelyan supply you and your horse with the ultimate transport experience:
- The boxes we advertise are the boxes we supply...no hidden surprises and all prices are VAT inclusive
- We deliver free within a 35 mile radius of our depot...additional mileage is charged @ 60 pence per mile to cover the costs of fuel only
- We offer fully comprehensive insurance
- Unlimited mileage and a full tank of fuel on arrival
- We Valet & sanitise each box post and prior to each hire period using a product called Vet Guard...recommended by vets to provide a sterile and healthy environment for horses
- Provide 24hr Roadside Relay cover for your safety and peace of mind
- Excellent security features and tracking device fitted as standard
- All vehicles are serviced every 8-10 weeks
- Plus you won't find loads of advertising all over our boxes
Clients love the two stalls which we hire and therefore we decided to manufacture and sell two stall boxes with and without living. Based upon extensive research, we have developed a box that provides everything for the independent rider but remains within the weight limitations of a 3.5 ton chassis.
Innovation is everything and we discovered that most manufacturers copy each other in design. At Trevelyan, clients interested in purchasing their own two stall horseboxes can get to try out one of our models and are involved with the design features they especially wish to incorporate in their own box. * This accounts for an individual that owns the box and doesn't pay finance on the purchase on a monthly basis. If you pay finance the annual costs increase with the finance arrangement, personal protection cover, set-up fees and interest rate.
